I like the fact Pep “tweaks/adapts his system”, in fact I think it’s vital, I often wonder whether the inability to do that was Bielsa’s downfall, and Pep has learnt from that (amongst other things) ?
So, Farewell Raheem.It's football.
City play, we watch.
City win, we happy.
City draw, we moan.
City lose, we moan.
City get 40 points, life is good.
Sun rises, sun sets.
Is football

But the other front three are, ( here at the moment ) Foden, Alverez and Bernardo so flipping back to the high press is an option. My one concern is now that we have lost Jesus and to a lesser extent Sterling I feel our press from the front may not be as effective . Say we have a top three of Grealish/Haaland/mahrez. For me that’s not a great trio for the press that is so important to our game.
However I’m sure pep will sort this out and it will all be ok but it is the one area I think we may lose out on with those two leaving.
Heh. Imagine we actually brought 442 back!A ludicrously new way of playing:
Eddie
Kyle Dias Stones Cancelo
KdB Rodri Philips Foden
Haaland Alvarez.
Yep, 4-4-2.
Tee hee.
We're not going to start playing like Wimbledon in the 80's are we. It will be fine.I am quite nervous about this whole concept. My mental health has just started to become stable over the last few years due to the consistent stile of play. And now we are going to top, turn and tail it.
