But is an ex pro and ex manager who had fuck all to spend at his two previous clubs when he was manager.

And he was that good as a manager he ended up being a kit man!

I still wonder who on the inside was leaking stories to the press about the previous management team specially as we hear very little about current regime.
Also heard the players mentioned would have left the club had Bobby stayed - but with his blessing as he believed they felt winning the league once was enough, time will tell.

I think this thread gives you your answer to that question for sure.

And still has more knowledge than you or I at being at a professional club.

And Les should have been professional, and taken a course in diplomacy. dont bite the hand that feeds you.
a clubs kit man should keep his mouth shut.

After the outburst earlier this year from  ex City kitman Stephen Azziz it is now obvious there was some kind of "laundry wars" going on between Mancini and the kit room.

Maybe they were using too much starch.

Why does he need to be diplomatic for? He was asked a question and he answered it with his honest opinion. If Mancini were still here at the club, then perhaps he should've kept it to himself, but he isn't here.

If you are representing your employers, you need to meet their standards. It's as simple as that. This was a club event. He wasn't sitting in the pub looking for people to ask him questions.

Of course, it is possible that the club OK'd him to say whatever he wants about Mancini, or that he thought, given what had been leaked to the press about Mancini, he could say whatever he damn well pleases. That, however, is another debate which, I suppose, has been done to death.

I don't think les has much to worry abt, wouldn't suprise me if it's encouraged by our PR team to bad mouth Mancini
Vicky Kloss is on speed dial to some of the red top parasites feeding them shit on the last gaffer.

Then that is a fucking awful strategy and does a disservice to our owners (refer also today's Guardian article) who, I have always imagined, have some class. Getting a pet journalist to defend poor performance by constantly referring to the failings of Mancini and why he had to go, and then end with the club "hopes" Pellegrini is the right man. He had better be. If he isn't, there aren't many people to blame. and, if that is PR, it is PooR. It stinks of management under-estimating the intelligence of its fan base and over-explainng its decisions.

No problem with him giving his personal opinion, but he should have left the players out of it. That's the bit that was extremely unprofessional in my eyes.

What was the Guardian article (I hoped the club was finished with this "blame everything short of global warming on Mancini" bullshit)?

It's getting to be a bit like the political parties always blaming the one that was in power before them, even if that was 10 years ago!!

Time for everyone to get over themselves and concentrate on getting us back from 9th in the PL to 1st!!

He is entitled to his opinion but to give it in the press? No thanks and simply not needed.

Its in the past and as a club we moved on.

True enough. But reading the sneering comments from so called Blues about Chappy are a timely reminder of what absolute cunts they are. He's worth a million Mancini's. Which is why the owners still employ him.

Will you just let it go FFS! Just accept that Mancini holds a special place in the heart of many City fans, your constant sneering and provocation is just causing more trouble and winds people up the quote from Yeats might help

"Tread softly because you tread on my dreams"

Should I be arsed? Because I'm not. Mancini is a manager City sacked. It's a big and varied washing basket.

Chappy deserves far more than this thread, hence he got his own "night" courtesy of he club and still works there.

You really have lost it.

I'm sure someone somewhere cares what you think of me.

My post is an accurate reflection of my opinion.

Aye
And calling blues c unts again

Considering the wide ranging demographics of football supporters it's not rocket science to assert some blues might be cunts. I think you're just mad all those things we said would get the Italian sacked did.

I must apologise though for sticking up for one of the club's longest and most loved and loyal servants. Bad me.
