Could I plead to all City fans,if we win the League,could you please refrain from going onto the fucking pitch after the final whistle and let the players enjoy that special moment.You only had to look at those scenes last time,as the players looked dumbfounded and shocked at the time as they clearly could not enjoy a few minutes by themselves as a group.
You know it makes sense.Let them have the glory and not you.

Cant remember it happening at Ragsville,Chelsea etc.

10 minute pitch invasion at the end is fine by me. It does add to the occasion and as one who remembers the bad old days of Jim Melrose and Dom Sullivan strutting their not so pretty stuff at Maine Road back in the day, put me down for some excitable fan participation in the celebrations.

Pitch invasions are part of the theatre of football so I'd love there to be one. The players won't care, they'll laugh about it later. But I'd be very surprised if there is this time,

I'd anticipate a huge ring of stewards and repeated PA warnings insinuating the title will be given to Liverpool should we invade the pitch.

The players have the entire day after the game to themselves, not to mention they'll go into the dressing room and get ready to come back out too. I reckon some might have even appreciated having a few minutes with the fans up close. It's not like it went on for too long and everyone did get off in the end.

I'm in tier 2 so wont be on the pitch no matter what, but I can't say I'm bothered if people do.
