Email had not arrived.Did not realise till weekend and flew out early Tuesday before ticket office was openGood system.

Wearing the wristband in a City less hospitable than Madrid could invite trouble !
Why can't they just print your name and passport number on the ticket, and make sure the correct passport is shown on entry. Tickets could then be mailed out, the old fashioned way !

All for it. It makes sure the right people get tickets although the wristbands were pointless. I've had to get tickets through people I know for the last 2 European aways and have missed out a few other times due to people on high points buying tickets for reselling or for their mates. It's much fairer doing it this way.
No problem in collecting ticket. Went Tuesday afternoon, quick and efficient. Well done to all the people at the ticket venue. Now, don't get me on the match! I spent more energy climbing up the stairs to my seat than the players did during the whole match. Then, most of them couldn't be bothered to come over to the fans after the match. Well there's always next time.

Absolutely no issues with this new collection system , was in Madrid last time but enjoyed this trip much more . Much more chilled out atmosphere in Plaza Mayor , great to watch the game the night before in a nice little bar just of it with lots of Athleti and City fans all enjoying the atmosphere . Did the City Bus tour as did many Blues who used this option to collect their tickets , hop on hop off . Also agree about the atmosphere being much better , can understand some peoples issues with the new system but for me it helped contribute to myself and our group having a far better experience with other like minded people .

I believe if you travel with the official Club partner they hand out the tickets on the plane.
