a question for the "outers"

If Hughes was to leave or be sacked in my mind there is only one man who can step into his shoes and take the team by the reins, dont know if he or anyone could rescue our season now but next season would be a good laugh... especially post match interviews. Come On down......Mr Neil Warnock.

dangerous post for somebody so close to his lost virginity.

wait for the fireworks

Who to replace Hughes...

Hiddink or Josse

but if not, then of those in the Prem only:
Roy Hodgson.
- He organised Fulhum's 2nd string magnificently aginst us in the LC game and his tactical changes against us in the Legue game were quite excellent too.
Martin O'Neil.
- Class. Doubt he'd come though.

Tallented Managers Abroad:
Mircea Lucescu (Shakhtar Donetsk)
Jorge Jesus (Benfica)

If not then as an outsider:
Gordon Strachan (Boro) - We'd certainly play some good stuff and the media scrum would be entertaining.

as a 100% hughes outer that is as bad as the worst suggestion of moyes FFS Strachen / moyes etc I keep the welsh baffoon b4 them !

I think we can get one of the top guys but if not Hodgson could do a very decent job imho

oh i get it, post a question and then when someone gives an answer you dont like, lay into him!

If he finishes 8th, i dont care who we get as long as he gets the fucking boot!

Speaking as an inner I agree with this. 8th would be unacceptable and I would then look elsewhere.

i'm an inner and 6th is'nt good enough.

lets just say, hypothetically, that end of the season, we have finished 8th and failed miserably in both domestic cups and hughes does get the boot, what if jose or hiddink dont come? would the "outers" be happy with a more realistic manager such as roy hodgson? because from where im looking neither hiddink or mourinho are unemployed and if they were on the market bigger clubs would want them. anyone?

Your question is easy to answer.

If we finish 8th or worse and "fail miserably in both cups" Hughes will deserve to be given the brown envelope. His replacement is a totally separate matter. Why have you connected the two things?

If Mourinho leaves Internazionale at the end of this season, irrespective of what they achieve this season - probably the Serie A title - I agree that he would probably end up at a big club. Possibly Real Madrid.

Hiddink is a different matter. As far as I know, following Russia's elimination from the World Cup his short term future is in doubt. Manchester City should be able to attract him if they wanted to replace the hapless Hughes. If he did end up at Eastlands he would something of an improvement don't you think? Having won honours with PSV, Real Madrid and Chelsea as well as making silk purses from sows ears with South Korea and Australia just to name two nations he has managed, I'd say he was a teensy bit better than the current incumbent.

Oh dear....Joking right ?

Of course. :)
Better than Hughes though - which isn't saying much...

He will NOT employ a foreign manager & that's a certainty.
So it's gonna be moyes, ince, hodgson or possibly bruce,he ain't going anwhere but that is the hypothetical shortlist.

What makes you so certain?
