a quick straw poll, best ever thread?

There was a thread in OT a while back (unfortunately the title escapes me) in which a renowned poster of a certain hair colour got severely mauled. It was side splittingly funny. As I said, I can't remember the name of it, but I would if i saw it and I don't see it in the classic threads forum.

Was it brooky's 'Let me inspire you' thread when he decided to become a motivational speaker and 'life coach'? A pure wind up but very, very funny.

The fanzines thread was pure drama, like a David Mamet play. You could almost smell the tension and testosterone.

Some cuntish RAG wum signed up under the username 'dannycr7', just before the Derby in 09 when Tevez scored to beat us 2-0.

Turns out he's signed up to most social networking sights with the name 'dannycr7' so people googled him, found out he was from London (surprise surprise!) and he had pictures of himself with money hanging out of his pants while doing a gun gesture.

I've never seen someone get so much grief on here and it was funny as fuck because he thought he was clever to come on here giving it the bigg'un.

The mods even made the thread a sticky as well, while every fucker was posting embarrassing pictures of him on here.

I bet the poor fucker was on suicide watch! Shame the thread got lost in cyberspace :(

Agreed. Comedy gold. But you have to remember that you do need to make allowances; he WAS a Spurs fan, after all!!

Back in about 2007-8, Sven-Thaksin era, everyone getting soppy about Ronaldinho. The ordinarily lovable Philbo pretended to be posting from Carrington, where it was all apparently going off (journos, paps, agents, the lot) over some recently arrived car. A much more innocent Bluemoon flooded the internet with pathetic pleas for information. I think that pretty much finished Philbo's BM career. That and him giving birth or something.

The Charleygirl/Vagner Love/Arndale one was a similar kiss of death.
