A Rags comment to me today......

Been at this place 5 weeks everyone okay etc but this rag who i work with approached me today and said"The yaya toure deal has single handedly ruined football,nobody wanted him,and city pay over the top and then offer 200 plus a week!!Its pathetic your just buying players so nobody else can!"


With this he stormed off before I could reply!

Im fuming now and just want to whack him but as stated im new so cant rock the boat yet and words are better for dummies like him.....anyone got a great reply thats quick and to the point for the next time he spouts off?

I gave him tick tock last week to no avail.....asked how much a ticket for his living room cost nowadays...he answered that he goes to the pub to watch it! Smarmy tw@ is seriously en route for a slap but its my last resort!


Must add I wouldnt just be whacking peeps for comments theres a history in the last weeks of him stitching me up etc...work related!

Must say thanks to you lot in a big way.

Could have lost my job for banging this ginger jobsworth rag but instead I have panned him all day until he admitted he doesnt really know what all 4 stands at the swamp are called and declared hes only watched them properly since the treble win in 1998!!hahaha I pissed myself then and others began noseying in only to join me laughing at this fool.

Silence followed for the rest of the day but i couldnt help myself and kept checking my phone on this thread and every two mins i said......"oh and another thing....."

Just found 2 more in Keane and Cole apparently Keane's transfer was huge transfer fee at the time.

So to answer your question it was probably Roy Keane for 3.75m in 1993

Manchester City, should we become successful, and there is no reason why we shouldn’t, will become ’self-generating’, however, I will close with a few questions.

1-Should those clubs with significant debt be barred from European Competition and unable to purchase players until the debt is cleared in full? Whether that debt is being serviced is a moot point.

2-Do you seriously think that UEFA will be allowed to continue with Platini’s proposals? The player quota scheme has already been thrown in the bin following an EU directive stating it restricts player freedom as well as being unethical.

3-Sheikh Mansour is an extremely intelligent man and he is completely and utterly committed to making Manchester City the best club in the world. Do you really believe that he will just lie back and accept these nonsensical proposals, proposals that allow the accumulation of debt to go unchallenged and punish those that are putting liquidity into the game?
