Ake - Always injured, sell him

Rodri - Coming back from injury, you're fine

Bernardo - Old and slow and shouldn't be captain, sell him
Foden - Not been the same for 12 months, on thin ice
Cherki - Not strong enough, drop him
Reijnders - Not strong enough, but a new guy

Savinho - Not good enough, sell him
Doku - Not good enough, sell him

Strikers
Haaland - Doesn't do anything if he's not scoring, take £100m and cut our losses
Marmoush - Not good enough, replace him with Rodrygo

So that's 26 players. According to this place, 16 of them need flogging and another handful need dropping. We then need to make a dozen new signings before the window shuts next week in order to have a chance at top four. And if we don't make those signings then the only acceptable team to field will be:

Bettinelli
Khusanov, Gvardiol, O'Reilly, Ait-Nouri
Foden, Reijnders, Cherki
Bobb.

Pep has squeezed the life, imagination and risk taking out of this team, it’s keep the ball at any costs - only anecdotal but Grealish looks a different player compared to his last 12 months at city - to have a player with the pace, strength and ability of Haarland and not build an attacking team around him is pure bs

Lewis - Not a right back - Id sell him but the club have given him a 5 year contract - big mistake in my opinion.
Akanji - slow, sell him
Nunes - Never gonna be good enough - sell him
Stones - If he can stay fit the he should start
Dias - Past it, not been good for 18 months, sell him
Gvardiol - played well enough as a left back - we aint seen much of him at centre half
Khusanov - Should be playing every single game
O'Reilly -- is he good enough to be a number 10 in a CL chasing team? Needs time but big steps to make it is needed
Ake - Always injured, sell him
Ait-Nouri - Lazy - needs a huge kick up the arse- horrendous attitude on the pitch and far too causal

Rodri - Coming back from injury but no need to comment
Nico Gonzalez - Needs more game time
Kovacic - Old and slow, sell him
Bernardo - Has a role to play
Foden - Not been the same for 12 months - needs time to sort out injury issues

Reijnders - Needs to be more defensively aware - needs a step up in aggression ....way too casual

Savinho - Not going anywhere but clearly wanted to - got a lot to do to prove he is good enough

Not too many positives and some harsh truths about our defence. Some reasons why we concede so many soft goals. Rodri apart where have all our outstanding midfielders gone ? I guess its a waiting game and hopefully they'll blossom into something collectively great.
