@Tim of the Oak you know Kevin mate, surely he needs to go public about this. I'm sure if CM (despite the fact the club don't care what they have to say), KP and the OSC and 1894 release a public statement the club would respond, especially if it's out in the open?Lets see if Kevin Parker, General Secretary of the City OSC, goes public and releases a statement.
Or will he just speak to Danny Wilson and City about it in private and keep quiet about it in public?

When it was the treble season, I remember the buzz of being a city fan. Singing about the defence, going away games and then those songs catching on. It isn’t the teams fault, and it’s not pep’s. It’s the poor requirement. Anyway, good amount of young Mancunian lads support city.

You are right about a possible joint statement.
But the club won’t respond publicly.
I’m not having a go at you mate, but you and other City fans must understand how the club works now.
The club will deal with any official and unofficial fan based grievances in house.
We will never find out about what was discussed and what the club have said in private.
Kevin Parker will get a response from City, but he won’t say anything.
City Matters will get a response from City, but whether that will be included in the meeting minutes is another matter.
1894 won’t get a response, no matter what they put out on their social media websites.
Everything at City is kept in-house. City will only make a public statement if they feel they have to.
Going forward. If there are any changes in the way away tickets are allocated by City in the future, it will only be visible and obvious in the away ends, and by no other means.

Anyone in Istanbul and witnessed the aftermath after the game can tell you about the concerns of the fans,many in desperate situations ( we carried fans in wheelchairs out of the car park). Despite numerous questions from fans I have never seen one response from City. Sorry if a bit off thread but still lingers
This is probably true but the osc is a paid for membership, members do have a right to call on him to supply answers and likewise the club which by definition is linked directly to the Osc has a duty to respond to him. So at the very least, and no ones expecting complete honesty, there should be some sort of statement returned to any question that is then the right of members to see.
I’ve said it before on these threads - if the club came out and said we decide to start increasing our allocations to those who contribute the most financially to the club, ie corporate members and sponsors, that would at least give some clarity. I think what is frustrating is that the allocations for particular games seem so arbitrary in recent seasons. Obviously it’s easier to get a ticket for wolves away than the rags, or Liverpool etc, and that’s always been the case. But there seems to be no consistent system anymore in terms of what points games sell out at given the ticket numbers. Clarity, even if it was initially unpopular, would at least give an explanation.
As it stands, essentially the biggest away games are creating a similar away end as a ballot system would, beyond the truly high points- in that those a little further down the chain have a much chance a someone with zero points, or that doesnt even support the club as their main team.
They do care. But not in public. They will have spoken to UEFA in private and left it at that. But as you say, that comes across as the club not caring. Their public PR with the fans is totally fucked up and misguided. An own goal!
