A s**t away end full of tourists

Totally understand that point of view and begs the question who thought it was a good idea to stop issuing points for away games a few years ago
It was the same person who was saying earlier in the thread that our away support has always been shit and we used to regularly take half allocations at most away grounds.

That is a piss take. I can't even dream about getting a ticket for Scouse away despite being chased around Stanley Park by mickies with Stanley's more times than I can remember. Absolute disgrace. But sadly no longer surprises me.

That’s just bizarre.

Why ? @Big Joe Corrigan
Apologies for hijacking the thread but please explain your post.
He could gave been a nasty violent dipper shit head.....
or he could have been a 57 yr old walking to his car.
I’ve experienced enough mither over their BM, but you’re right it could have been an innocent bloke. I just have no time for their fans and their feral behaviour. But I’m too old for all this shite, so you’re right to pull me up on it.

They do care. But not in public. They will have spoken to UEFA in private and left it at that. But as you say, that comes across as the club not caring. Their public PR with the fans is totally fucked up and misguided. An own goal!
Seriously jrb? The club spoke privately! Oh whoppee fuckin' do.
The club did nothing.
@Alex - City Matters used his own time and effort to compile a report to the club. Fuck all was done.
The club do not care about us, they care about money.

I think something needs to be done. That could be the various groups working together or something new entirely.

We’ve seen so many things happen over the last few years and we’ve had no voice or one group standing up for us (with any influence). That’s people being kicked out of the front row, how tickets are allocated or the price of food for example. One main supporters trust is needed.

City matters doesn’t seem to have any influence at all and it feels like a token gesture to show the club ‘care’.
As a former CM rep, it seemed that the club started off with good intentions but simply didn't understand what fans wanted (which is why we were there). So there was no proper communication and management of changes, like when they shifted everyone to make way for the Tunnel Club but left them to their own devices to arrange alternative seats. In fact they were a bit amateurish in many ways.

Then Roel de Vries arrived and he sounded like someone who knew what he was doing. He told us there was too much silo working and he was going to set up a programme to improve the end-to-end fan experience. And he did, but didn't bother to involve any fans when we were expecting to be fully involved.

Then we'd agree changes with Danny, but they'd get knocked back by either de Vries or Soriano. I lost interest at that point and was quite happy to stand down. It doesn't sound like it's got my better since.

Even when they’re City fans, it’s rare they converse with me, I barely get a single word out of most of them. Even when it’s clear they speak English, they aren’t interested.

I purposely fell over him to hug the lad next door but one to me. He tried to push me off so I shouted in his face ‘WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE FOR?!’. Then when I sat down again, I pointed out the centre point between our seats and told him to move his leg from being miles into my space.
I think I might have worked out why no one speaks to you.
