I think we established some time ago that the Old Testament was something of a theological pick 'n' mix for our god bothering friends.
They shun the nasty and cherry pick the nice.
Although the whole thing is supposed to be the word of god,so it seems a bit presumptuous to ignore entire chunks at will,but hey ho.

There's a genuine and supported idea that most of human development comes from alcohol. It is well acknowledged that early pottery inventions were driven by needing somewhere to store alcohol. People have been consuming alcohol literally longer than people have existed.

And telescopes could only come from glass and glass was driven by the want to see the quality of wine.

That gives me complete freedom to poke fun at the pig-headed subscribers to BlueMoon who are incapable of listening.
