I think you should probably pack your bags tonight and come back for any larger furniture items (TV's, fish tanks etc) when she's not within a 6 mile radius of HER house as it will give you enough time for the removal guy to pack your belongings before she returns, failing that you might have to resort to stealth tactics to retrieve your possessions before she pawns them in, anyway for now, forget all that and Enjoy the game Tomorrow!

So I am off to Newport this Saturday. Problem is the mrs doesn’t know yet.
Was planning to inform her tonight but the reaction to my late arrival home and chocolates instead of flowers meant it was probably not the time.
Don’t worry it gets worse. I am on the piss in Cardiff on Saturday night and back Sunday.
Having just successfully pulled the situation around tonight with a trip to Sainsbury’s and a decent bunch of flowers I also need to navigate the fact we have a holiday booked (Spain) with her family next Wednesday for an anniversary and I can’t go as I have a hand over of a building at work. Also the small matter of being at Wembley on the Sunday which I am taking my kids to and we don’t get back from the holiday I am not going on until the Monday.
She has just said I can’t wait for the two weekends and some quality time together.
Neither can I but for other reasons such as a new ground and a cup final?
How do I get out of this small dilemma while keeping her happy. Missing either match is not happening.
Ps she has a temper like that blonde women road rage killer from about twenty years back.

Schoolboy error with the final. The date is known at the start of the season. We have won in 3 x in the last 5 years! Law of averages.....

My Mrs is 50 next Sunday so moved her birthday to Friday night so we can spend a quality big birthday at Wembley watching the blues

Simple answer to all this is give you're partner the fixture list at the beginning of the season add cup games up to the the final indicating that any game can be changed for TV. Explain the community shield may bring you're season forward a week, If they don't get it all then you need a new partner or accept the ride.You have it right when you're thinking of the kids taking them to Wembley etc.Having met you at West Ham thought you were such a quiet bloke. HA HA.

She remains remarkably calm. She currently thinks I am on route between Birmingham and Manchester. I am actually on a coach to Cwmbran from Cardiff. I don’t know why.
