A traffic cone

I thought he was our weak link. Young given far too much space, skinned Bridge easily every time.
Also, at 2-1 he seemed far too eager to get forward, and left our left flank open to counter as he jogged back.

Thought Bridge played very well today. Up against class players and coped. Our fullbacks are going to be vital on Wednesday if we are going to breakdown Spurs.

The problem is he backs off too much and makes it easier for the wide player to go past him. When you back off and the players runs at you with pace it's difficult for you to win the ball and more times than not the wide player will either beat him or win a free kick

Would have been more use for us at left back today. Collosal result today but if Spuds have Lennon fit, well im already having nightmares about him V Bridge.

Can someone please tell me what it is that he does so effectively?

All i see is him standing off, standing off, adjusting his feet and then trying to block the cross, and he never achieves it. If Barry is fit then he has to play and act as a double up with Bridge on Spuds attacks.

My eyes are frigging shit but you must go around with your's closed - what did Bridge do so wrong today (apart from kicking the ball out once for no reason)? Leave the guy alone

Apart from making zero tackles and allowing young to whip in a dangerous cross every time he picked the ball up on our flank, he was incredible.

He's not the best but I cant see much point slagging off players when we have two of the most impotant games in recent history coming up, its not like we can go and buy someone else is it?

He wears the shirt so I'll support him.

He does get isloated though and backs off then gets easily beaten.

Maybe this is one for the summer

Spot on fella.

A Traffic cone is unfair, moonwalking statue maybe, funny as hell Bellamy berating him second half and Sylvinho telling him from the sideline to get closer .,to be fair to the lad He,and Adam Johnson should of been replaced earlier as they were overworked and both struggling to support the front flanks but both put in a good shift going forward,Jonno helped out well at the back. The sure sign of fatigue was when he kicked the ball out , was`nt that a sureal moment?
