A Tribute to Manuel Pellegrini?

No, no, no, I mean when he was caretaker manager for 3 or 4 games in the late 80's/early 90's. He held the ship after Machin and Reid. It goes without saying he is a club legend but all is previous managerial appointments pre-dated my birth in 1982. Maybe the lack of knowing when I was raised, didn't help!

I wish I hadn't started this conversation !! Maybe its the typical city part of my mentality, As I read through your reply, I got a sense of De Ja Vue... I hope the coming Pep era is better than the last time we had the Messiah overthrow a good manger.

Anybody else notice how relaxed he looked in the post-match interview last night? It's as if all the strain's off. He didn't have that tense, defensive look on his face that he's had for weeks. Or am I imagining things…

Thought that a month ago A man completely at ease & fully in the loop with all that's going on. Since Christmas he's been handling all the tricky questions with a smile on his face the sort you get when you know things that others don't and he's obviously happy with his lot.
