A wee Dram

Pretty much unbeatable imo...

love single malts but not the Islay smokey ones like laphroaig, Bowmore and Ardbeg. I much prefer the Speyside malts like Arberlour and all the ones beginning with "glen" ! Glenfiddich, glenmorangie, glenfarchlas etc ( not Glen Quagmire before anyone says anything!)

Lagavulin 16 Yr Old

Macallan 12 Yr Old

Hoping to get a bottle of this one on my way through Duty Free tomorrow

Guessing thats not a cheap one!!!!!!!!!!
It's about £50 which is not cheap but not that dear compared to a lot. I've been working all weekend and will possibly be working all next weekend (plus definitely the weekend after) so got some cash to spare While I've got access to duty free I'm building my whisky collection up. There was a Macallan I fancied but got put off by the £135 price tag.

I believe this high quality malt is the drink of choice of a certain knight of the realm:

except it's not a malt. it's a blended whisky.
If you work on the assumption that everything I post in off topic, apart from on the political threads, is replete with irony you will have a much better grasp of my posts.

nice try but i can't detect any real irony in your original post ;)
