does he track back?

Apparently.

-- Tue Jan 22, 2013 12:41 am --

Manchester City scouts were in attendance at White Hart Lane on Sunday to watch Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon, fanatix has learnt.
The Premier League Champions have added Lennon to their summer wish-list and could even test Spurs’ resolve with a bid for the speedy right-sider before the end of January.

Tottenham evens to secure a top four spot in the Champions League qualification betting
Aaron Lennon could arguably claim to be one of the best purchases Tottenham have made this century having only cost the North London club £1m back in 2005. The England winger has been in good form of late and Roberto Mancini may feel he doesn’t have enough in the way of direct running options out on the flanks and may well feel he could lure the former Leeds United man with the promise of Champions League football and a big pay rise.
Such an offer may be all the more tempting in the summer if Tottenham fail to secure a Champions League berth this term. Roberto Mancini has a number of wide attacking options so may well have to offload a player or two to make room for any potential arrival in this position.
In wide areas Mancini can, and usually does, use flair players Samir Nasri and David Silva, he can also call upon summer signing Scott Sinclair and hard working England man James Milner.
Lennon would offer a different style of wide attacking weapon, one that perhaps would work well with speedy strikers Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero.
Aaron Lennon may also feel that a high-profile move of this nature could help to secure a more regular spot in the England national team set-up, having won just one cap since 2010.

I'd take him. Caused Utd all kinds of problems on Sunday and one thing we're missing in my opinion are wingers. Can't see Spurs letting him go cheap though and wouldn't want to pay a stupid price for an English player when you can get cheaper in europe.

Not for us, a decent winger but not a player to help us kick on.
