Abdukodir Khusanov

He is more advanced than our current EDS and if anything it does take some of the heat off the likes of JSP who don't look ready for the first team.

Most of those slide tackles in the video are actually pretty controlled.

One or two were risky.

Obviously the shittest mistimed ones won't actually be in the video.

So to conclude, maybe he's quite good, or he might not be.
Hes young enough to have that coached out of him. Sliding should be a last resort. Pace and physicality with ball playing ability, he’ll learn there’s no need to slide

He still is. I wouldn’t say he’s a quick player either. If we’re signing centre backs there coming into to play in the middle in my view.

It just seems logical to give your own a chance, who I think have more potential. Rather then spending millions on other young players with potential
Whilst I agree we should be testing out our youth players more, I do think that we need a rapid defender to negate the counter attacks were conceding from in each game.

Doyle and THB are probably both slower than what we already have.

I can’t begin to compare Kusanov as I hadn’t heard of him until this week.

It’s the pace element that I like about the potential deal.

He is better than what we currently have. He walks into our 11 based on his performances this season as compared to our lads. He takes RCB spot with Ruben next to him, and Manu Akanji moves to RB. Nathan ( or Josko) at LB. He has the best U20 stats in the world for a defender, and one of the best of any defenders out there.
I’m all for it. Akanji at RB or into midfield if we don’t sign anyone.

That’s the thing another CB helps massively with squad depth.

I’d rather we signed a CDM as well just saying there’s a chance.
