I read somewhere earlier that we could sign Marmoush, Reis and this fella and still be in transfer profit for the season.

I don't know much about Khusanov at all to be perfectly honest, but that clip I saw of him chasing down a player the other day was pretty enticing. Kyle is our only fast defender and he's not as fast as he once was and it isn't making up for other blunders at this point. That being said, Kyle's pace won us countless games (or preserved draws) and frankly it just can't be overlooked -- it's an invaluable trait for a defender to have. If this guy can come in and replicate that when necessary and still be a solid defender centrally, I'm all for it personally. The price is the price.. it isn't our money.
