I'd say Negouai comes up in more City quizzes than anyone else.
Between his controversial handball, drug " incident" and that he has all 5 vowels in his surname, he is more infamous than famous
Him, Matias vuoso and glauber Berti make up the city quiz ultimate trifecta

Dribbling is an actual football skill, having pace is pretty much being lucky to have been born with good genetics and specific muscle fibers. It's like being tall is an advantage in most cases, but it's not a skill that you can develop. Yes, you can go to the gym, follow a specific athletic training regime etc etc., but if it was all about training and developing your body physically, then everyone would have the pace of Walker or Sterling.
Dig hole deeper...

So if his birthday is February 29th as the guy on the 93.20 podcast says he’s technically 4 almost 5, do we really want to break employment law and get another charge?

“At their respective peak” is a key caveat.

And, as I said, the game has moved on. It is not OK to JUST be one thing anymore. You need to be have at least 2 of the 3 attributes, preferably all 3.
hence why i said our issue is ageing out and injuries

@Calv_from_the_frog

Akanji is not a terrible footballer
Nunes has been pretty excellent for us this season when he has played (last 5 minutes of the derby aside)
Savinho is not terrible on the right and he's arguably our best left winger

I accept your opinion but agree with none of it.

Akanji's passing is awful and he's very often the person who has last passed to the City player who loses the ball, because he either provides hospital passes OR gives people the ball when they're not in a position to receive it. He also gets caught on the ball in dangerous positions too much, as him losing the ball v. Inter against Martinez & Spurs away last season (Ortega save) will attest. Note that I don't say he's not a good defender, but being a modern defender is about more than just defending.

Nunes I absolutely love as a human being, and from the majority of inside City videos etc. I think that you can see that this is shares by the squad. He hasn't been excellent for us this season, he's just been a player who has exceeded expectations rather than someone who has underwhelmed (as with the rest of the squad). As stated, this doesn't make him excellent. Love the guy though, but squad player at the absolute best.

Savinho is not a right winger. He's a left wingers (as most analysis videos & his performance for Girona last season will tell you). He crosses best with his left foot (service is something that Haaland desperately needs), shoots better with his left, and probably wouldn't have even been played on the right (save some in game switching) if it wasn't for Bobb getting injured.

Anyway, that's what I base my statements on, just so you wouldn't think I was someone who just blurted out shite for no reason.
