Abdul Razak.

Impressed me the most, oozed composure on the ball and I think he had a near perfect pass completion rate, had over 50 in the first half alone. You can tell Mancini clearly fancies him like he did Boyata, let's hope he gets a few more runs in the senior team this year.

But I mean he's no Zidane Cleverley.

....Razak, I believe, is the only youth player who is a fixed first team squad member as he was on the team photo and no others were.

Team photo LC ? Link please.

Next to Zaba and above Nige with head down, think that is Razak.

I've met with Abdul quite a lot recently and got to know him well. Liverpool and QPR is not happening. There is a very strong possibility of a one month loan deal with a Champoinship club, with that extending to the full season if it works out for both parties.

From what he has said a loan move would be acceptable to gain match experience but he is very happy and he sees his long term future with us.

He's a fantastic lad, articulate and passionate about football. The consensus of opinion seems to be that he's a very talented player, I wouldn't disagree with that having watched him play last night. Not every agrees so far but it's all about opinions.

imo opinion what makes him stand out is his physical strength for such a young lad.

He's pretty good at most things required of a central midfielder. To get to the top, if he has it in him ,it's all about playing games and at the highest level possible. He trains consistently with our first team squad which will benefit him enormously and maybe a spell on loan would be good for him but only if he plays all the time.If not he might as well stay with us.

I thought Razak had a good game, was impressed. Couldn't remember him giving it away and if that is right 98% success rate then that is amazing no matter the game or opposition.

Thought the lad had a great game along with savic. I don't know if he will be the next paddy v or what, too early to say but from what i saw last night i was very impressed. Give the kid a break ffs. Lets develop the youngster when and where we can, i doubt we are wanting to build a training centre etc costing 100s of millions to always go out and buy the finished article. He seems to me to have the basic building blocks of a bloody good cm. that will do for now. Thanks Abdul good luck.

Yeah, I was similarly impressed with him.

Wouldn't a loan spell and run of games with a good Championship team be better for him to develop as a player, rather than a spell on our bench with the occasional bit part?
