This was the song that was played at my dads funeral almost 4 years ago. He was a city fan of 45 years and was lucky enough to see the glory years. He sadly passed away at the age of 61!....I watched the sky for the last 5 mins on Saturday and urged him to do whatever it took for us to hold on. Silly I know but he was my city companion for 32 years. His last game was derby at home when Michael Johnson scored that screamer.

He will be with all the other blues in the sky doing the Poznan :)

Abide with me will be very emotional for me as Saturday was!

There is no way that I will be able to learn that, and if I did I would forget it when I have a couple of beers anyway. Would I look like a tool if I brought the words on a piece of paper? I'm guessing yes by the way so I will prob just just sing the odd word and try to look like I know the words.
