Should have been told to take the shirt off and not do it again and then sent home. Shouldn't sack the lad for being stupid and immature.
 
Ironically he should have just worn a half and half scarf with the shit side on show and he would have probably been allowed to continue just like quite a few people in the stands.

Could have caused a proper fracas so in some ways a significant health and safety breach, suspect a final warning would have been enough but the problem they have is once his face is all over the internet how is he not a risk/at risk when he's next on? Short of having something back office for him to do he's made himself unemployable in the role he had. Silly boy.
 
Somebody said he'd lost a bet and had to wear it as a result but no idea if that's true or not. Either way nobody is that stupid to think they can wear a shirt of their hated rivals in public while working at any game, at an actual derby it's insane. He tried to fuck around and got found out. He's probably agency staff anyway and will just be employed elsewhere.

There will be a load of rags serving in there. They are mainly just kids/students on zero hours contracts getting work where they can. I couldn't give a monkeys who they support. Yes it was stupid, probably thought he would as just being funny but backfired. When I was that age I might have been tempted to do something similar (although I wouldn't have worked there!).

You'd have to get rid of 90% of the staff if you are talking about no hairnets!

Reminds me of the time I did some work at United training ground in the 90’s. It was common knowledge that Uniteds coach driver was a Blue, and had a City badge clipped to his tie, but kept it covered under his jacket.

It’s a basic lack of professionalism and conscientious so he can have no complaints, however I doubt he’s lost his job, more likely the agency who subcontracts the bar staff just won’t allocate him any more Etihad gigs I’d imagine
