Absolute Joke In Block 315 Bar | City sack employee for wearing United shirt

The rag prick served myself and my 12 yr old.
Cocky bastard.
My lad said 'what you wearing that for in here'

He responded with 'cos I can' with a smarmy smirk.
Daft ****.
This should be a sticky post at the top of the thread for anyone giving him the benefit of the doubt or thinking he’s been dealt with too harshly

I would assume there is absolutely something in the contract about not wearing clothing associated with other football teams while working for the club. I would be shocked if there were not.
I thought that, but after gary cooks emails, and forgetting to cancel the scouts database access when they went to the dippers nothing would surprise me.

You would think so and every company these days usually has a social.media and non disclosure clause written in too.

Astonishes me that this lad gets any sympathy from anyone. It’s not a simple mistake, he’s taking the absolute piss out of City and his employers.

Thought he’d get away with it and splash it all over his social media and thankfully the prick may now understand there are consequences to being a nobhead.

It’s just like people who think free speach means you can say whatever you want with no come back. They then cry blue murder when it comes back to bite them on the arse.

Regardless, it does not matter. It is a sackable offence.

Personally, it would not have bothered me. I probably would have found it amusing and would have had banter about the score. However, what he did could have provoked others. Silly thing to do when some will be drunk. The kind of behaviour that puts himself and his colleague at risk of harm. he probably thought he was being smart but it was a dumb thing to do.
Maybe the top was on sale, had Manchester on it and was blue, and he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer

He probably didn’t think he would get away with it and doesn’t care. His social media exposure has given him what he wanted. 2 mins of fame in a fame hungry world!

The rags will invite him to the derby at the swamp and put him in a luxury suite.

Or maybe in the dugout.
