Acceptable Scousers?

It's just the accent for me. I physically wince at the sound of some of em. I took the kids to Southport a few years ago and it was infested with the fuckers. I was caught in a swirling scouse vortex of phlegm that I couldn't wait to escape from. It scarred me... I'll never ever return to Southport.
 
I go to a specialist trainer shop in Liverpool called Transalpino. Must’ve stood there chatting about football for fifteen minutes afterwards. There were some nice independent shops in the area too.

I went for a pizza and a pint afterwards to watch the second half of a match and this woman just stared at me with her gob open. I gave her a polite smile assuming she’d reciprocate and she didn’t. Strange lady.

not a big fan of transalpino - was it jocky you chatted to. very red influenced so i tend to avoid it.

You’re talking to a Manchester City fan! I don’t know his name / moniker but he had grey hair. Liverpool fan.

The footwear was £100 but are Sunday best.
