Accounts are out for 2017/18 - revenues over £500m, profit of £10.4m

Most of the profit was Mooy and looked like transfer pricing if we got him for nowt from Melbourne.

Still four years of breaking even isn't bad.

Good figures overall but a couple of bum notes. Other operating expenses (excluding wages) are still increasing in line with revenue when I'd have hoped they'd stay pretty much the same. Also there was cash introduced of £58m during the year. There's no cashflow statement so it's not really possible to say if that's for a specific purpose or to prop up cashflow, when we've been self-sufficient for a few years now.

Could it have been for the Laporte signing, Colin?

I'm no accountant but would it be fair for me to assume we are doing O.K.?

I'm no accountant either so can I ask, has anyone taken money out of the club before the profit was announced in the same or similar way to the Glaziers. I am thinking that the Chinese investment must be getting yearly dividends.

Who'd a thought, 10 year ago, we'd be sitting here talking about a half BILLION pound turnover and a £30 Million pound profit.

In them days, we had to raid the charity box to pay the wages.........................................................
