Actfortheact - Save the human rights act now

The right to a just and fair trial in a reasonable timeframe by an independent and impartial tribunal and innocent until proven guilty seems sound enough to me, though this government (judging them by their support for ttip) might object to the independent and impartial aspect

Sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear daughter

And the rights of criminals constantly shown to be of more importance than the protection of the state or it's citizens.

The biggest fat cat gravy train of all time from our humble legal establishment and it's greed fed cogs

Our own bill of rights shall replace this lump of antiquity
Lots of similarities with our drafted act which will of course enable fair trials and be against the use of torture
Should be plain sailing now for the Conservatives without hindrance or interference from the Liberal elite
God speed the end of May
An act that never did sit well or be conducive to safe sleep.

British bill of rights will encapsulate enough of what requires encapsulating
I trust my government will indeed separate the wheat from the chaff
If Strasbourg throws it out which I believe they will then goodbye to Echr
Michael is a great choice and hand picked for the job to hand

Thank you for your kind words. You are absolutely entitled to your view, and I'm so glad people want to have a conversation about this, however I don't agree I'm afraid.
In particular I have grave reservations about Mr Gove, being a teacher I know all about him, and have first hand experience of his "expertise! "

Good on you mate.

Keep going.

And for balance take a look at the ECHR and the conditions for being a member of the EU and you may realise that this is money down the drain as no one is going to lose any rights.

Yes good question, why change it or indeed scrap it?
