Adam Johnson for Gareth Bale

Where exactly would Bale play, we don't do traditional wingers or 4-4-2, one reason why AJ doesn't get regular starts and as a LB Bale's no better than what we have. Remember all those Prem games before he was on a winning Spurs team, he was LB in the majority of those, I think there may have been a connection! I'm not in favour of changing our successful system just to accommodate Bale, he's not THAT good.

Why would we need to involved Jonno in a swap?

He's our only outright winger, can play opposite side to Bale.

Especially, when City could involve Ade in any swap deal.
