Adam Johnson guilty - 6 year sentence

You haven't got the slightest clue about me, my family, my morals. All you know about me is what I have posted regarding peoples confusing of morality and legality.
It's getting my bedtime so I'll lay it out for you and I'll end with this.
I don't believe in sex before marriage regardless of age. I hold sex outside marriage to be wrong regardless of gender. I hold forced marriage to be wrong. I hold adultery to be wrong. There are many things that i hold dear also. But you know what? I will never come on here and condemn anybody just because it may be seen to be the right thing to do and because that is what the majority expect to hear from me. I hold all these people jumping on the bandwagon and condemning Johnson as a paedophile and a nonce to be hypocritical. The reason is because I can almost guarantee that they will have done things which I consider to be immoral. Regardless, I will not expect everyone to live to what I believe to be my moral standards. Morality is a personal and subjective thing. All I, or anyone else for that matter can expect another member of society to do is live within the law as it stands. Nothing more, nothing less.
All I have heard all evening is how Johnson is a paedophile and a nonce. I prefer to be a bit more measured. I don't promote or applaud what he has done.
Johnson has broken the law, he will be punished for it. What I will not do is condemn his actions just make myself look and feel superior because ,God knows, there is so much that i need to correct within myself before i can start condemning others.
Let he who has never sinned cast the first stone.

I respect your values and opinions, I dont agree with the majority of them, as I dont agree with the concept of marriage on the whole, but each to their own on that. For the record I did call him a nonce but not a paedophile, I think there is a difference. Mostly though, this a message board for giving opinions, it would be very dull if nobody did that, I didnt say he was wrong to feel superior, I was just saying what I thought, that it was the actions of a ****, by a ****. As I dont believe in sin as a concept as that would involve a whole lot of beliefs that I dont have, I am free to cast whatever stones I like.

Dont think anyone could argue against Johnson being and acting like a ****, as for goalmoles morals they have to be applauded I wish I could have been the same as it would have saved me waking up in so many strange places with some very fearsome beasts indeed....all I hasten to add older than 15 and mostly infinately fucking older.

All part of the learning curve and gives you some stories to tell at dinner parties and social soirees, or down the pub if you are more a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy.
 
Speakkng as someone who took his time to really, completely, 'fall in love' with football, i have to say johno was the one who made it click. That last minute goal v sunderland just made me think, wow, this is incredible. I had played and watched a lot football before then, and supported city, but it was that moment that made me mad enough to beg my dad for a ST and start browsing forums like this. Tbh, this is kind of devstating, to see one of my idols like this. Bet im not alone either. Adam Johnson, you are a ****.

Oh I have shagged outside of marriage and you couldn`t beat it my son.And before you start I have been married for 40 years and it obviously hasn`t been too bad a problem for my wife and myself.You should try it,you do-gooder.

Not sure about the whole "it's ruined her life" argument. whilst she's still technically still a kid it wasn't like she didn't know what was happening and it seems like it was consensual seeing as she reportedly bragged about it online.

Not defending Johnson, he'll deservedly be punished accordingly, but i wouldn't label him as some sick evil paedo, just an absolute idiot.
