Adam Johnson - Potentially how good?

He has the world at his feet if AJ was from Brazil he would be being touted as one of the best young players on the planet and in my opinion he already is.
By the way Stilsy have you been to bed since signing up on here 400+ posts in 9 days haha, addictive ain't it.

Potentially a good - very good Premier League player, who should stay in and around the England set-up for a long time.

I don't like this though. It's too early to be saying he's potentially an all time great. Let's see where he's at in a year.

I do like him a lot.

How good do you reckon the lad could be?

Imo i reckon he could be the best english winger we have ever had.

I know thats a bold statement but hes a traditional winger that doesnt really on ridiculous amounts of pace like Lennon and Walcott.

The chances he creates from cutting in on his left peg and the amount of penalties he has already won is just brilliant, all he needs to do is maybe start scoring a little more and you know we have a good player when everyone in the media and every rag is raving over him.

He also has that swagger and cockyness, Just look at these 2 vids and you will know what i mean and i think he brings a great team spirit, he will be amazing at this club and i hope he tears big fat sam allardice's blackburn a new arsehole at weekend!

You obviously didn't see Dennis Tueart then? Or Peter Barnes?

Ronaldo & Messi have nothing on Johnson.

Nah but seriously he'll easily be one of the best if not the best winger in the league very soon. Hes got everything to be world class and like most of our team hes still young. The future looks very bright for Johnson and City.

Inside, outside, cross with both feet, and a 1st class drop of the shoulder - get's the dopey feckers all day long! Very very good.

He's potentially very good ......

all he has to remember is that one killer pass inside can take two or three defenders out of the game in the same way that trying to dribble through them can ........ his ball inside to Milner for the first goal against Liverpool being the perfect example.

It was the ability to deliver passes , and balls into dangerous areas like that , on a regular basis , that made Ronaldo special , and they can make Johnson special too ....... sometimes it's better to let the ball do the work!

His got the potential to be a great, but really needs to let his feet do the talking in the England set up. I have a feeling he will be there for a couple of years
