if only he had the pace of lennon, what a player he would be. lets hope its just an extended bad patch and he can get back to the form of last season when he first arrived.

I wouldn't start him on Saturday, we cannot afford to carry any passengers and what a sub he would be to bring on.

He got nothing from Rose at LB.
Looked more effective against Corluka for last 20mins in 1st half.
Would still start with him on Saturday though!

He played well against Sunderland but has been completely ineffective since. I thought Milner did enough to justify a place but if he gets pushed out wide when Barry comes back, he is likely to be as ineffective as Johnson.
I'd be interested to see if Mancini is thinking similarly. Maybe Johnson would be more effective coming off the bench when the game is stretched. He isnt doing anything at the minute though.
If he plays I hope he proves me wrong and plays a big part in hopefully beating Stoke.

Looks blown out. Which is worrying given that he's not played that much this season, hasn't even finished most games. In my eyes, his fitness just ain't right. He might get it sorted this summer... might.

I agree, my concern with Milner is he can be a bit clumsy at times but he had a fair game, looked lively. I'd play him in all honesty, I can see why people are mentioning impact sub, but in all honesty the more players getting the full backs on the back foot the better, hes tricky and draws a lot of fouls, my personal opinion i'd play him

We played really deep as a team tonight and Adam is at his best in the last third, linked well with Micah a few times though. Saturday will be different I think with Stoke defending deeper, so I would play him. He'll win us a few free kicks in good areas and will cause them a lot of problems imo.
