Adam Johnson

It's not Jonno's lost goals that have cost us (arguably replaced by Tevez's additional goals) but the goals that haven't been scored by Sergio and weren't scored by Mario in comparison to last year. That's the 20 odd goals that we have needed.

He was an impact player but too often this was at the end of a game when a player of his talent should have had more to offer from the beginning.

We do lack width and that has been an issue but as others have said, it is more about a lack of a decent replacement that AJ himself.

After today's performance, and his somewhat subdued celebration I thought he seemed to have matured a fair bit.

I fully expected him to carry on like a right pork chop after he netted the penalty.

Wish him all the best of luck for the rest of his career.

Showed bottle and class today, a few city fans still abused him.

Finally looks like he's grown up a bit and moved one from the anti city bitterness that he exhibited after he left.

He seems to be the most on form Sunderland player at the moment, hopefully that continues and he can take points away from some of our rivals.

A shout out to Costel as well, he kept them in the game.

Probably realised with the drop in wages going to Sunderland how much he royally fucked up his career here at city - he is wealthy now I have no doubt but he could have been rich beyond his dreams AND an England regular bearing in mind he would just have to displace Stuart Fucking Downing !! Grown up and probably realises he is still one lucky lad
