Impossible to say that, he’s 20 with a lot of potential. Nobody here can tell what his ceiling is and whether he’ll reach it. Nobody predicted Rodri’s level either when he arrived or when he was at Atletico, because a lot depends on the players football intelligence.

Palace can price Wharton out of a move with the new contract and the other thing he isn't quite ready to step up going off his current form at Palace. January is the worst time for buying.
