Karius is classed as club trained, I think. Bit of a left field shout, but would make some sense.
Very true but they are very expensive and can flatter to deceive.
We should replace Ortega and Carson with Kasper. Or get in someone like Henessey as 3rd choice.

Absolutely. We’ve been burnt too before, but all we can do is buy the best that we think is around.
Think Wharton has shown he has the potential to be a star. We would need at least 3 other more experienced midfielders in front of him though to allow him to bed in.
You say that but doing pretty well as LB.
I think at that age being a talented boy does enable that flexibility

Didn't have his best game yesterday but its hard to stand out when tasked with being a brick in a low block. He has played well against us in the past, he was superb in the game at Selhurst Park last season. No coincidence Palace have shot up the table since he returned from injury.

Why would any of those want that? Plus neither are good enough with their feet to be our number 2
Hennessey is third choice at Forest, 38 and out of contract in the summer he'd jump at the chance of signing for City. Whether we would want him is another matter.

Kasper is really good with his feet much better than Ortega. Few keepers are better than him.
Kasper Schmeichel says being an outfielder til 15 helped him develop his style

Oh yeah he is no doubt.....but you can see with his skill set why he is a central midfielder...Pep does love playing his midfielders at fullback
Delph, Zinchenko, Oreilly, Nunes all midfielders who have played at full back for us....thnk Bernardo did it once for us at some point as well!!
Bernie and Foden have put shifts in before! Bernie was great to be fair, he’s a proper dirty player I love it.
How long was he here when younger? I can’t really find that info anywhere but if he was here for a few years might even qualify as club trained not just homegrown

4 years, so would qualify as Club Trained.

Karius could be the new Carson.
Nunes is not a midfielder for us. He mostly plays wing or fullback.
Also i really like the idea of Rodri, Wharton and Gonzo as the base CMs. Gonzo and Wharton replacing Gundo and Kova. With Wirtz replacing Kev. That would just be perfect.
How about not having a new Carson
