Perhaps it wasn’t his day then? He’s a good player. I’d be pleased if we sign him.I’m a big fan and have watched him numerous times but today he was bang average.
Hmmm.

Karius is classed as club trained, I think. Bit of a left field shout, but would make some sense.I don’t see why, the current homegrown list is
Carson, Ake, Stones Grealish. The only 2 I see being replaced are Grealish and Carson. Any other signings will go on the free list whether homegrown or not. ( unless they are ex club trained players).
Think Wharton may well replace Grealish not a clue who replaces Carson.
Very true but they are very expensive and can flatter to deceive. We’ve done it before…!
Homegrown players are going to be important this summer.
We should replace Ortega and Carson with Kasper. Or get in someone like Henessey as 3rd choice.I don’t see why, the current homegrown list is

Bit like when we twatted Gvardiol for a cricket score. Harsh to judge a player in that role when you need ten men around you to help out.I’m a big fan and have watched him numerous times but today he was bang average.

Absolutely. We’ve been burnt too before, but all we can do is buy the best that we think is around.Very true but they are very expensive and can flatter to deceive.
You say that but doing pretty well as LB.Oreilly is an 8 or 10....not a 6
Why would any of those want that? Plus neither are good enough with their feet to be our number 2We should replace Ortega and Carson with Kasper. Or get in someone like Henessey as 3rd choice.
Hennessey is third choice at Forest, 38 and out of contract in the summer he'd jump at the chance of signing for City. Whether we would want him is another matter. Why would any of those want that? Plus neither are good enough with their feet to be our number 2

Kasper is really good with his feet much better than Ortega. Few keepers are better than him.Why would any of those want that? Plus neither are good enough with their feet to be our number 2
Oh yeah he is no doubt.....but you can see with his skill set why he is a central midfielder...Pep does love playing his midfielders at fullbackYou say that but doing pretty well as LB.
I think at that age being a talented boy does enable that flexibility
Bernie and Foden have put shifts in before! Bernie was great to be fair, he’s a proper dirty player I love it.Oh yeah he is no doubt.....but you can see with his skill set why he is a central midfielder...Pep does love playing his midfielders at fullback
Delph, Zinchenko, Oreilly, Nunes all midfielders who have played at full back for us....thnk Bernardo did it once for us at some point as well!!
How long was he here when younger? I can’t really find that info anywhere but if he was here for a few years might even qualify as club trained not just homegrownHennessey is third choice at Forest, 38 and out of contract in the summer he'd jump at the chance of signing for City. 4 years, so would qualify as Club Trained. How long was he here when younger? I can’t really find that info anywhere but if he was here for a few years might even qualify as club trained not just homegrown
A huge bonus if he wants to be the new Carson4 years, so would qualify as Club Trained.
Karius could be the new Carson.A huge bonus if he wants to be the new Carson
Nunes is not a midfielder for us. He mostly plays wing or fullback.Over the next two seasons realistically we should expect to replace
KDB
Kova
Bernardo
Gundo
Nunes
As midfielders
We can't handle replacing all of that in one summer. It's going to get broken up over two.
Getting someone like Wharton in and giving him some time to integrate would be massive
How about not having a new CarsonKarius could be the new Carson.
