Adam Wharton

Yes he’s looked very decent for them and has played both full back positions,
Madrid did have a buyback but looks like Bournemouth have actually taken up the permanent option/obligation for around £18-20m
Thanks for that info.
I'm just thinking keeping Nunes as the first choice RB and bringing in a younger player who could step in and keeps things consistent might be the best way to go.

Alex Scott is HIGHLY thought off at City mate. Very close second choice to Anderson.
I remember us playing Bristol city away in carabo cup a few seasons ago, I’d never heard of him, but even tho we hammered them you could see his quality a mile off, very impressed by him

Wharton is magic on the ball.

Really would be my number 1 target.

Anderson is great in a do-it-all Kovacic way but Wharton could be our Pirlo.

No brainer for me rodri oreilly Wharton as a midfield 3 would be brilliant. Would indeed Anderson as a squad player if we could get him for around £40m

I'm a big fan but he's not exactly magic off it is he? No goals in the PL yet either.

I'm not expecting goals from Palace's deep lying playmaker though really. Sure he's got the technique to score them in a more attacking team. Looks like he could just pass it into the net if he fancied it, Rodri style.

Off the ball probably needs work, but I'd say that's what all our midfielders need to line after joining, gundo, rodri, nico, kova whoever. Bernardo joined as a tricky lightweight winger and now he's probably our best off the ball player.

I'd be reticent to prioritise signing another player who needs work off the ball in midfield, as good as he is on it.

He very rarely seems to win a tackle or a header or even make an interception - unusual for a midfielder.

We seem pretty set on Tonali and Anderson according to the latest reports and Anderson definitely has something to it as it just doesn't go away.

I can see Wharton going to Liverpool to be honest. I hope not the rags.

Rather have João Neves personally. To get back to the top we need to be getting the very best.

I do like Wharton, but nothing screams wow to me.
