Adarabioyo joins Fulham on permanent deal

Need to get rid of the person in charge of negotiations.

Every other club gets 3-5x minimum what we get for our players, I thought we run a business?

Isn't that supposedly the whole point of the academy and buying all these young international players, what's the point when we negotiate like idiots.

Fee looks low but we will get a cut if Fulham decide to move him on for profit. Fulham have signed another centre-back on loan from Lyon.

Had it confirmed personally that there's no buy back clause from the person who told me he wanted to leave initially btw. Really is as bad a deal as it looks on paper.
Wish him well, doesn't help we are not good at selling, but I also fear Fulham the sort of mess they are this might not have been the wisest move. Maybe he sees plenty of playing time opportunity, but I cannot see them surviving Prem.

I just imagine how negotiation went. It is never like buyer offering 2m and seller says ok. It always has to be an offer and then seller asking for more, buyers expect t go same way so they dont offer first what they are ready to pay in the end.

for this to end up at 2m what was their starting offer? did they have the balls to start it with 0.5m pounds?

I would have rather swallowed this 2m loss and keep him than the Garcia 15m loss.

Fuck even if we keep him we might sell him in January for 1-1.5m if any Champo clubs are in urgent need of a CB or something.

Last week Brewster guy changed clubs for 23m pounds. Why do I have the feeling if we have this Brewster guy coming back from loan where he scored 10 goals we would shift him for 5m top?
Patrick Roberts comes to my mind , great loan at Celtic, homegrown talent and now we are stuck with him he did not even score last 3 calendar years, complete flop. He will leave for 2m too next summer. But he is shit unlike Tosin who is imo a good player in the making.

Whilst the fee is ridiculously low, the 20% sell on clause could be very lucrative, plus it sends a message to future academy players that we will improve you and make you a better player with an opportunity to play for us if you are good enough, but we will facilitate you a good move elsewhere if necessary. They win either way and would be open to return to us if things develop that way.

Will mean we get a whopping £6m discount when we inevitably sign him back for £30m next season to replace the outgoing John Stones after another season of disappointment and injuries....

No matter however way we want to swing it, this is a shockingly bad deal, even by our usual standards.

And we will get a cut of the Jadon Sancho deal when teams meet Dortmund's demands. It is still a huge gamble for Fulham and if he is worth more we will get a cut.
