You haven't seen the state of Hector have you?And we get a cut on any future deal for a player who hardly featured. He isn't going to walk into Fulham's first team.

I don't get what upside to the deal there may have been? A buy back clause at best? We can always buy him back without it? How come all of a sudden fans have become careful financial advisors and experts in suggesting what is a good deal and what isn't? Who is saying getting £2m is a fair deal? It isn't, but it's our own doing, the result of our own policy long term. We've never sold to break even and only then re invest, if you're expecting a different model from the club all of a sudden, be it any player who leaves, then you have no hope. We have never gotten amazing deals for selling players.
Why complain now? Do you think this particular deal or lack of money from someone has stopped us getting anyone? If you're going to say left back, then there was clearly a spot available, if we wanted we could have gone and bought Tagliafico. But we couldn't. Don't think an additional 20m from this or Garcia would have seen it over the line.
Tosin is going to have the same problems as Hector. Its going to be a brutal introduction. You haven't seen the state of Hector have you?
See we have made sure of getting a percentage or value / buyback on sale where the club thinks it matters concerning the player being sold, re; Douglas Luiz + Sancho. The upside would have been a good base fee and/or a buyback. Imagine us doing the same thing with Douglas Luiz, we'd be looking like absolute fools not inserting a buyback. If the fee is so low, atleast protect ourselves with a reasonable buyback so if he turns out well, we could potentially use him as 2nd choice RCB in a year or two from now.
It's not a case of it being our model, but you cannot simply be lazy negotiating exits and hide behind that. This is a poor deal and whoever was in charge of it deserves severe criticism for it. I complain because I don't want another Sancho situation (though that case was very different and I don't hold the club accountable). I want the club to be run the best possible way and to see such a poor deal being negotiated especially on the back of the obligation to buy of Angelino at 16m and option to buy of Jack Harrison at 8m makes me think the people in charge of negotiating deals are poor at their jobs.
Unfortunately the lack of competitors for his signature would say different.2m is an absolute steel for Fulham they'll sell him for 5x / 10x that amount if he does well and they go down.
And we will get a cut of the Jadon Sancho deal when teams meet Dortmund's demands. It is still a huge gamble for Fulham and if he is worth more we will get a cut.
