Adarabioyo joins Fulham on permanent deal

You cannot be serious if you cannot see the difference in levels of quality between Prem and Championship. Him getting a move within Prem is the best possible outcome, miles better than a move to any championship club. Even if Fulham go down he will have gained important experience from playing in the league, and can move on to another Prem club from there on.

I don't get what upside to the deal there may have been? A buy back clause at best? We can always buy him back without it? How come all of a sudden fans have become careful financial advisors and experts in suggesting what is a good deal and what isn't? Who is saying getting £2m is a fair deal? It isn't, but it's our own doing, the result of our own policy long term. We've never sold to break even and only then re invest, if you're expecting a different model from the club all of a sudden, be it any player who leaves, then you have no hope. We have never gotten amazing deals for selling players.

Why complain now? Do you think this particular deal or lack of money from someone has stopped us getting anyone? If you're going to say left back, then there was clearly a spot available, if we wanted we could have gone and bought Tagliafico. But we couldn't. Don't think an additional 20m from this or Garcia would have seen it over the line.

The upside would have been a good base fee and/or a buyback. Imagine us doing the same thing with Douglas Luiz, we'd be looking like absolute fools not inserting a buyback. If the fee is so low, atleast protect ourselves with a reasonable buyback so if he turns out well, we could potentially use him as 2nd choice RCB in a year or two from now.

It's not a case of it being our model, but you cannot simply be lazy negotiating exits and hide behind that. This is a poor deal and whoever was in charge of it deserves severe criticism for it. I complain because I don't want another Sancho situation (though that case was very different and I don't hold the club accountable). I want the club to be run the best possible way and to see such a poor deal being negotiated especially on the back of the obligation to buy of Angelino at 16m and option to buy of Jack Harrison at 8m makes me think the people in charge of negotiating deals are poor at their jobs.

See we have made sure of getting a percentage or value / buyback on sale where the club thinks it matters concerning the player being sold, re; Douglas Luiz + Sancho.

So I don't think it's necessarily applicable to everyone. We can obviously do better at selling, and we should have done better with this deal but it is what it is. Clearly players surplus to our needs would rather be let go for what the club deems fair value at the time rather than kept and loaned. As I said earlier, this is the result of our own policy of not being a selling club long term, the purchasing club offers peanuts, because they know we want to get rid and we will likely accept it. And we have not cared because we have had issues in offloading certain players at times but less issues getting in who we want.

Not a fan of Angeliño's deal or Harrison's but the same case applies here. Eventually they will be sold for whatever value, and as long as they're off the books that's what seemingly matters. As long as it does not affect our buying power I am not really concerned.

2m is an absolute steel for Fulham they'll sell him for 5x / 10x that amount if he does well and they go down.
Unfortunately the lack of competitors for his signature would say different.

Decent defenders are few and far between, 2m is a bargain but even at that price his only choice was Fulham.

And we will get a cut of the Jadon Sancho deal when teams meet Dortmund's demands. It is still a huge gamble for Fulham and if he is worth more we will get a cut.

is still a huge gamble for Fulham.

Dont no why you think that, they knew what they were doing,

Tosin has developed as a player and grown into a formidable defender out on loan to the Championship the past two seasons, where we saw his contributions at Blackburn Rovers first hand last season during our promotion campaign.

Tosin has received positive ratings from our data team and our coaches, and most importantly Tosin himself badly wanted to join us, and he will come in and fight for our Club! Come on Fulham!"
