I don't think it's arrogant to say both Ade & Robinho were at clubs that considered them as surplus and that coming to City was not something they'd have chosen to pursue pro actively. Both are angling for moves away from City and neither have proven to be consistently effective. We're a better team without both, but far from being a negative comment, I see that as a positive comment on other players!
Honestly wouldn't miss the shithouse. Sure he's scored goals for us, but he's a fucking lazy twat and could be twice the player he is now if he actually wanted to be here and put some fucking effort in every minute of every game. Could have got someone better for the £25m Hughes wasted on him.
Doesn't want to be here, joined for the cash, doesn't have the bottle to work with the project and has about 10 minutes a game where he looks awesome and for the other 80 he's his typical shithouse self.
We look far better with Carlos upfront than trying to shoehorn them both into the same side.

Absolutely laughable thread full of laughable posters.
Ade is averaging a goal every other game for us. Since he returned from the African cup of nations he has been immense. You lot love to revert a player to his supposed "type" because Ade has chased down everything, every lost cause and been defending from the front. He had some bad games after being banned. But still scored against Chelsea and liverpoo.
As for him angling for a move? Why becUse there were two paragraphs in the mirror? Absolute bollocks. Yes he is banned again but not one poster on here thought he deserved that red, not one. He was our best player against Stoke.

You my friend, are talking utter drivel. In the games against Bolton and Pompey he scored vital goals in absolutely dire games after running the channels and through the middle tirelessly while our midfield went sideways and backwards. He was fantastic against liverpool and the same against Stoke. I have those games on my + box and have seen the. All backa few times. You, clearly have not. But hey let's not get in the way of a good witch hunt, Arsenal fans are right! I also hear united fans think tevezs second touch is a tackle. I hope he goes through a barren run so I can use that one soon.

Emmaual Adebayor - A striker whoduring the time in the premiership has a better goals to game ratio than near enough every current premiership striker bar Fernando Torres but deemed not good enough by some fans mainly because of his attitude or supposed lack of work rate
Adebayor is one of the best finishers in world football and for me is a huge player for us, he's been excellent in most of the games he's placed in for us this season. People have a pop at him for coming wide too often but what people have to understand is theres no problem with him coming wide because more time than not it creates space for our midfield players to run on and get in good positions however he's not been helped by most of our attacking midfielders not taking advantage

I'd rather have Ade to be honest. Villa and Tevez would leave us a little short up front in terms of physicality. Torres has been injury ravaged. I rate Higuain highly, but i wouldn't put him ahead of Adebayor personally. Sometimes players sound better simply because we don't see them play every week.

It's a bit pathetic how you can't chat about a player on here without being told to fuck off and being called all the names under the sun. Ade has bundles of ability, I've always said that. He has performed much better lately but you have to admit he's played lousy for quite a few games. He's also very frustrating the way he drifts wide more than is good for his effectiveness.
I hope he stays but I also hope City sign someone who's a true focal point up front.

Im getting sick and tired of some people on here (and other forums) helping the media stir shit up for our club and our players
People need to fucking stop it now....you are going to wreck any chance we ever have of pushing this club forward.
All you are doing by starting and hekping rumours develop is feeding the media frenzy. Where do you think they get there "sources" and rumours from??....internet forums like this one. The they go and print it as gospel and any negative press spreads like wildfire.....soon enough major media outlets like SSN issue articles along the lines of "SSN understands"....blah blah blah...they start hounding the players for qoutes....they something and then someone on here starts analysing every detail of what is said and the whole process starts again!!!!!......ALL THIS UNSETTLES THE PLAYERS......If ade is constantly being asked about his future at city and the likelyhood of being sold in the summer then at some point he is going to start to wonder if there is any truth behind what he is being asked about....htat is only natural.....he is going to wonder whether we want to sell him, whether the fans want him sold and whether the club are planning to sel him...he then goes to the manager/club to ask questions and he gets accused of trouble causing...hence more negaitve press
