It's a big step up though, you only have to see the England game to realise he might have been out of his depth.

I didn't see the England game, but this revelation surprises me. I've always thought of him as possessing something of a big game temperament.

Yeah, this is very clearly stated at the bottom of the SS article. If you're lying to attract interest from other clubs, shouldn't you just say 'Juventus are interested', rather than 'a deal has been agreed'?

Shame it pan out the way we all hoped but if we're getting Dzeko then fair enough. We will still need at least one more striker for RSC though if not two to replace Jo as well.

The fact that he's seen the need to leak this to the press says a lot about the man IMO. Even if we don't replace him it would make sense to ship out any disruptive influences.
