Soldado was frustated at being standby for so long so he just ended up rejecting Spurs, A shame as he is a class striker.

Holy shit, Spurs had Soldado lined up and blew it? Joke's on them.

Imo we'll get Ade and Damaio in probably, can't see us getting Llorente - we wouldn't be able to pay the wages he is demanding.

Spuds haven't completed the deal yet
this with just Defoe as their only senior striker
deadline missed for first game
if it isn't a priority now, will it ever be for spurs
i fear we wont be rid until he has got every last penny

They are playing the waiting game until the very last minute to get the best deal.
Knowing we are desperate to get rid.

I believe Adebayor and Levy are simply playing "hard ball" and trying to screw us for the maximum money they can. Both will be aware of the much publicised, self imposed club policy of "sell before we buy"!
Both will be looking to damage their rivals, (ie us), as much as they can.

All very well but Spurs in the meantime will lose first couple of games without a strike force and ultimately come season end that may well prove more expensive than the couple of million they MIGHT save now. You assume City will pay the price. Levy on this occasion may just have to give for once.

He will bleed us dry and wait until the last possible second to depart and no doubt will then slag us and Mancini at every turn.

We cant know if Spurs will win their first matches or not. They played with Bale as a lone striker in US tour and Defoe is under rated IMO.
I would love to turn the tables on Levy and leave him high and dry. It's easy to suspect collusion between Spurs and Adebayor on this one.

I hope Newcastle records a clean sheet against spuds

I don't want him to go. I want us to make the greedy twat rot in the reserves at Ewan Fields on a tuesday night.

Horrible, horrible man.

I don't get this let him rot in the reserves attitude. Why the fuck should this oxygen thief get the chance to contaminate the youth team. He would set the worst possible example for them and their development.

Just make him train on his own
