This has been my point since it happened. I think all this talk, even by us, of a lengthy ban is just adding more fuel to the fire and serves to force the FA's hand. The FA can't ban him for his celebration without doing exactly the same to van Persie and to ban him for a stamp when there is reasonable doubt that that's what it was, sets a dangerous precedent.ChesterRdBlue said:Not sure how they can determine it was on purpose, he is looking the other way and is unbalanced.
