Personally I hope it does fall through. Huntellar and Fabiano are much better players and would cost around the same.
I can see what Hughes is doing going for prem experience, really he has taken no risks so far though and really the other options are not much ofa risk but would end up being much better players for us in the end IMO.
Anyway it will probably still end up going ahead. Its a £2 million loyalty payment from Arsenal that is holding it up apparently.

WTF, no one hopes a transfer falls through.
Adebayor is a top notch striker, just what we need.
Huntellar is only a year older and has a much better scoring record. His record is unbelivable at every club he has played at opposed to Adebayor only having one decent decent so far really - although it was a very good season and in the prem.
If it means we get a better player with a better attitude of course I would be happy for it to fall through.
People seem to be anti Huntellar on the basis he turned us down in Jan but Real were in for him so what do they expect....
