Same here, I'll be well pissed off if that happens. Can't see the logic either, we'll still have the same number of CBs and then have to go looking for a quality replacement for Ned and a squad player.

I'm sure by the 'mentioning of Ned', it was more that Everton were asking about him, not that we were willing to agree. At least any sensible manager would be of like mind.

Mark....?
gettin the fix are we, shouldn't you be doing your kitchen.

oh and Pam, apologies if this is posted in the wrong thread, I thought you had to respond to questions in the same thread not go hopping from one to the other. As stated previoulsy I am new here so lighten up a touch ;)

dont worry about that. these threads spend more time off topic than they do on. what we've just had is fifty people desperate for clarification of what Adebayor's agent said. under normal circumstances no-one would complain about such an discussion of such an important issue as ned's future because it's 'off-topic'. tempers are a little frayed, methinks!

I don't think that sounds good at all from the way the Arsenal fan heard it.

If he doesn't really want to move to Manchester and would rather be in Milan then I would guess he'll stay at Arsenal, take the boos and move to Milan maybe on deadline day or in January.

It's a big life choice for Ade at 25yrs as he'll be making the main move of his career.

I hope he can come around to City's plans but if he's not keen on moving to Manchester I'd say this might be a dead deal.

Gutted if so.

Cheers lad, typical that the minute I ask some news come through lol.

But Adebayor still needs to make a decision but fee and everything is sorted.

Makes no sense. So he's stalling but not because he's trying to screw any more out of the situation. WTF?

No he didn't.

He said the fee, terms and conditions were 100% agreed, however,Adebayor wants time to mull things over as he is unsure if it is in his best interests. He expects the deal to be concluded, one way or the other, over the weekend.

I heard it on talksport myself - Phil Smith said the fee, terms & conditions are done. Excpect Adebayor to decide this weekend.

Shouldn't you be pretending to be working? ;o)

Thought I would dip my toe into the water after years of lurking.
