Adebayor (merged)

Matt you hit the nail on the head - remember sitting with my old man in Platt Lane watching Bobby Mac, tommy Hutch, paul power etc. Can't get down as much now a days but my boy (11 now) will grow up watching the new generation - awesome. managed hamburg at home - but will hav to bring him down this season!!
 
Both Daily Mail and Independent reckon we could get Adebayor in time for him to fly with the squad to SA, can't see it but hope it's true

I have a feeling it could be done tomorrow. Its going to move at real pace, Arsene has already stated they want the Chamakah lad, but to get him someone had to go. 22 million for Adebayor and around 12 for Chamakah will help him balance the books again. They have to move fast as Sunderland want his signature as well.

well i still see this the same ..i think eto will sign for us and aby will still be an arse player
imho barca will cut a deal and pay him the loyalty bonus as they are on a hiding to nothing .
Sell now for say 12/13 mill after eto cut
Keep him NO fee and he will be missing for africa n at cup anyway

didnt really know where to post this as i cant post new topics, when listenin to ssn it said after speaking to gary cook that he was rushing off to another meeting. i wonder if this is anything significant, i know with his job he will have a lot of meetings. but rushing to a meeting at this time might mean a possible transfer. we know thath hughes is keen to have most players signed before south africa, i am just wondering if this meeting is anything to do with adebayor and getting him signed by tomorrow.

just thought id mention it.
