Adebayor (merged)

Welcome to 4 more days of nothing but speculation. We won't know about this deal, on/off until Monday.

I'll be here though. I'm a sucker for the pain.

Just look at it from this angle, if he was stalling wouldn't we cut the deal like we did with eto'o?

I mentioned before that us locals dont like to be held to ransom over anything, so if he did what etoo did then the deal would have been off by now.

I think we all know in our heart of hearts that it's nothing more than a smokescreen disguising the arrival of David Bentley.

Ade is angling for Meelan.

Milan dont have the money for ade, they used the kaka money to pay off some debts.

Dear God noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The thing is, theres a huge difference between the Eto'o saga (which was ENTIRELY money related), and asking for a couple of days to think this move through. If he just wants a couple of days, let him think about it. Then, if he comes, we know he actually wants to come here, as opposed to just making a rushed/forced decision.

Look now, city is on the verge of becoming a global club.

No more little old city, typical city or any of that. This club will be huge and this club will need world class players to be huge.

This is jus another one of those speculations from the media imo.

I think he will still sign, but even if he doesnt im more than happy with our striking options

With only RSC to lead the line I think we'd be a lot weaker than we would if Ade was there as competition. It's a vital signing for me. Well, Ade or Ibrahimovich or Fabiano or Eto'o.

Ade would be my first pick though, even over Eto'o.

Fingers crossed.

No disprespect to David Bentley but does moving for him really require a 'smokescreen' ?

adebayor wage demands of £170.000 a week threaten deal.

should tell the gready tw@t to do one!!

All speculation, bla bla bla.

It's CITY against the media these days.

If he's thinking the offer over then fair enough give him some time. If for one minute it's thought that he's waiting for a better offer from another club then we should end the deal now and move on to someone else. I wouldn't want him then, and yet I think he's an excellent striker.

I think he'll be joining for money no matter what tbh.

I think it's far more likely he's just waiting to see if AC Milan or Internazionale come in for him. Inter would need a replacement for Ibrahimovich if Chelsea get him and Mourinho likes Ade.

I can guarantee you that's total fabrication...

but turned down the chance to undergo a medical as City continue to discuss terms with his advisers.
We all know the medical is over and done with.

When was London Evening Standard ever ITK anyway..?
