Oh FFS people stop sticking up for the bloke , he's obviously a tool.

If his luggage had been blown to Timbucktoo , if he had been shot himself, there is still no reason for wearing another teams shirt unless he had lost the use of his limbs and couldn't dress himself .

He's not so distraught he can't sit doing interviews all day is he .

I don't care that YaYa was wearing our shirt let his club and fans sort him out .

Ade's actions are completely indefensible once again , he is bad news and we should get shut just as soon as we can .
totaly agree, he seems to be obsessed with arsenal.

I thought it was Robinho we should get shut off

Listen guys, all your excuses, he's in Togo, not on the fucking moon, he is a millionaire, and if some tards want to try to suggest maybe someone killed may have been an Arsenal fan, and he wore it out of respect, get a life FFS.
Why not wear a Togo shirt if he wanted to show some respect!
The only thing that stood out was the embarrassing possition he put us true fans and the club, dissgraceful IMO.
If he hadn't any clothes, would have been better to appear naked.

Still keen to hear your unpacking the comment of that great philosopher, BIG RON....

Not half as obsessed as some City fans it seems!

I dont think its sad, if your complaining about how long this thread is, why add to it?

You are absolutely right why add to it , so here goes again. As I said there are just times when I just feel the need to respond and this is one of them. In recent times I have seen on here constant reactions to the written press , radio shows and pundits on TV about how disgusting so and so is and how dare he say that about City or a City player and here some are having a go at one of our own not long after he has witnessed teammates shot and killed.

The need to be negative is very much a trend of BMooners ( and yes me about the negativity I am sure some hilariously funny person will say) and it probably mirrors today's society.Every day at any time it's easy to get a negative fix about something here. Hardly any player has escaped it and it's very much like reading the gutter press that so many complain bitterly about.

I am learning though about forums that it seems to be the norm to post whatever you are thinking irrespective of what it is.

I am still saddened that so many have decided that Ade is a total disgrace despite what he has been through but if that's what some think.......

Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion and my guess is that it might be 50/50 on here as to whether it's a big deal or not.Perhaps there should be a poll to actually decide.Maybe also the question should be asked of those who think he is totally out of order what should his punishment be?

A massive fine maybe or suspend him for some matches or put him on the transfer list? And if the reply comes back telling me don't be daft it isn't that serious well that would suggest that it's a daft thread in the first place for me.

But it is likely to get into the papers now as we all know they scour the forums for dirt they can write and this will be fun for them.

Firstly, i dont think the papers will need to look on here to come up with some juicey anti city talk, they always do.
Secondly, although i respect and agree with parts of what you have just said, its highly hypocritical. your giving out about the lenght of this and then adding to it a good deal yourself.

Right everyone... Reality check needed big time.

This thread is the equivalent of the rags treatment of the glazers, everyone having different opinions and everyone having digs from all angles but no ones getting anywhere.

What ever someone says is not gonna change the opinion of any one on here. So if its not witty or harmless then youre better off saying nowt.

Yes, a stupid incident has happened and there may be consequencea for adebayor, but dont forget this is CITY, where there is never a dull moment.

The press may rip the piss out of our club cos of this, so we must stick together and support what OUR club does on and off the pitch, not what 1 player does the other side of the world..

We should be thrilled with how the club are performing on all levels, not at each others throats over one incident that we. All be forgotten about before too long.

Now im not saying what hes done is acceptable, but extraordinary circumstances lead to strange goings on..

Remember the saying 'city till i die'?? Well lets prove we mean it by cheering the blues to the title!!!

PMSL, I see they already got the "Adebayor back to Arsenal" articles out...

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1242746/Is-case-wishful-thinking-Emmanuel-Adebayor-Manchester-City-hitman-pictured-wearing-Arsenal-strip.html?ITO=1490" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... l?ITO=1490</a>

Big difference in saying "Fuck me the lad was a bit stupid wearing that Arsenal shirt today" and some of the bile written on this thread.

Lets not over excaggerate eh?

The most offensive things in this thread have been directed at City supporters for the crime of expecting a bit more common sense from one of our players.

What a twat, get rid of the lazy arse bastard

He has basically p1ssed in our faces - I don't want to see him back in a Blue shirt we aren't exactly missing the lazy f@cker are we

Ade, you are a fucking dick!

This clown has proved on more than one occasion that he's a lazy mercenary who couldn't give a shit about city.

I get where you are coming from, but, bile ^ ....hardly an over exaggeration.

The press wont rip the piss out of anyone because of this, even they will have the decency to leave the guy alone because of what has happened.

However, should any of them read this thread they might make a few comments about how selfish, juvenile and lacking in basic human decency some city fans can be..
