Adebayor might be leaving

Maybe we have just told him Balotelli is on his way and Liverpool have accepted a £50million bid for Torres ;)

To be honest i'm feeling a bit numb from it. Hughes bought a lot of players, and some clearly aren't good enough to play week in week out. Adebayor is good enough, so this is hard to take if it's got any weight behind it.

I'm finding it hard to care. I can't relate to some of the players because we've either paid way too much for them and they're decidedly average (Bridge, Barry, Lescott), or they're only going to be here for a year or so (Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, RSC).

It just all seems a big mess at the minute. I understand things change quickly, but this is insane. If this appraoch takes us to where want to be then it'll be worth it, but i don't see how player turnover can be healthy when it's on such a high level.

Player turnover ??? What Petrov Bojinvo and Garrido..... If the papers are to be believed (which I doubt) if Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, RSC, Ireland, De Jong and Joe Hart leave then you have a fair point. We lost 4 pre season games last year then won our 1st 5 league games.. It was a bit of a mess when we had Craig Russell and Gerry Crainey up front !!

Actually we only won our first 4 league games.

Sorry i'm basing my assumption on the disticnt possibility that a fair few of the names mentioned will leave. Hart, Adebayor, Robinho and Ireland have all mentioned it.

For me it is a question of do we trust the manager or not. I have to say that everything I have seen from him since he's been here, as well all that my Italian friends have told me about him, suggests that Mancini knows what he is doing. And if that means my favourite players go, as well as the likes of Adebayor, then so be it, I trust this manager...

MANCHESTER CITY

IN
Yaya Toure Barcelona £28m
David Silva Valencia £24m
Aleksandar Kolarov Lazio £16m
Jerome Boateng Hamburg £11m
Alex Henshall Swindon Town £250,000
Albert Rusnak MFK Kovice Undisclosed

OUT
Javier Garrido Lazio £2.5m
Valeri Bojinov Parma Undisclosed
Robert Mak Nuremburg Undisclosed
Paul Marshall Walsall Free
Filip Mentel Dundee United Free
Andrew Mitchell Rangers Free
Martin Petrov Bolton Free
Jack Redshaw Rochdale Free
Tobias Johansen Kongsvinger Free
Ryan McGivern Walsall Six Month Loan
Gunnar Nielsen Tranmere Rovers Six Month Loan
David Ball Swindon Town Six Month Loan
Karl Moore Released
Benjani Mwaruwari Released
Sylvinho Released

If we bring in Assulin, Balitelli and Milner then we have brought in 9 quality players.
If we sell Gonzales, Onouha, Etuhu, Jo, Robinho and Caciedo and possibly Bellamy or Cruz we have sold/released 21 players
If we loan out Wiess/Assulin then we have 5 players out on loan.

Overalll we have 26 players there which are leaving the club, players like Garrido, Sylvinho, Petrov, Benjani and Bojinov who are on fairly big wages. And 9 coming in who are quality, no one should be worried about player turn over etc. We only got taken over 2 summers ago so it will take time to get rid of all of the dead wood. Look at Chelsea, they bought loads of players like Crespo, Veron and SWP who didn't play that much. It has to be done.
