Adebayor on loan to to Juve?

DORTMUND, August 5 - "Juventus are a great club where I'd play," signed Emmanuel Adebayor . The attacker tongolese the City is aware that the arrival of Balotelli mean less space for him in the team.

Hypothesis confirmed by the British leadership that has already cleared the player to find a new place. An agreement between the parties not yet officially, but it becomes in the words of the player. "Until very recently - said Adebayor - I would not have accepted offers from other teams. I still wear the jersey of City and play a better season than the past. But I realized that for me there will be many chances, and then I'm taking into consideration the many offers that I have arrived. I'm sorry to leave the Premier League but in Europe there are other high-level championships. "

One of these is certainly the Serie A. Marotta and then decide whether to sink the shot on Adebayor, find a partner more willing to listen to bid for Juventus and willing to reach an agreement quickly. Adebayor and his desire to represent an interesting change of air assists to Juventus. "The economic aspect is important, but when there is a middle of the biggest clubs in the world should also consider other aspects ...».

quoted from Tuttosport .com (with a little help from Google translate)

Still somthing seems not quite right about the quotes, the source - seems to be a Turin based newspaper. Would Adebayor be giving interviews to a local Italian paper while on tour with City in Dortmund? Can Juventus afford Adebayor? all smells a bit of the farmyard to me....sniff is that bulls?

We absolutely, positively cannot let Ade go... one of the best strikers in the world on his day. He has the potential to be as good as Drogba who is positively unplayable at times and who creates holes for other player through his sheer physical presence and fearsome goalscoring ability. Don't forget that he is still only 26 so he is 6 years younger than Drogba so his best years could still be ahead of him.

He had a tough season last season with a near death experience and some iffy bans but still had a hugely impressive goals to game ratio - you can bet he'll be better this season.

Even if we are bringing in someone like Dzeko who, let's face it we'd be thrilled with, we should be doing so at the expense of RSC who is an injury liability not Adebayor.

I am just going to stick my head in the sand and pretend its not happening....

At the end of the day if the reports are true and it is a loan it will be impossible to put a positive spin on this IMO - unless we go out and sign 2 players like Dzeko and Ibra for example or maybe Dzeko and Huntelar......

At the end of the day, when you send big money big, high profile players out on loan you give them all the power and end up getting nothing back for them Robinho, Sheva, Crepo, Veron have proved this.

If he really wants to go the only acceptable outcome would be for Juve to pay what we paid for him and all his wages but this is city in the transfer market we are talking about here hence piss take loan deals being mooted.

Afterall Chelsea loan out Drogba, Rags Rooney, Liverpool Torres, Arsenal Van Persie, suitable comparisons.

The club needs to get off its arse and start putting their foot down, instill some discipline and show they are not going to get walked all over by the players and other clubs we are rapidly turning into a laughing stock.

I totally 100% agree with this.

We are trying to sign some of the best players in the world on one hand, and then on the other hand we have one of the best players in the world already playing for us and we would consider letting him go? Well I seriously hope not.

Apart from anything else, I know we are building and I know whilst doing that we have to spend money. And I can also imagine ADUG do not want to get involved in the day to day running of the club nor individual transfer decisions. But we are complete haemorrhaging money at the moment and it's got to stop. We can't keep endlessly buying players for £25m and selling for £10m (or whatever).

If there's any truth in this and I hope to god there isn't, we should tell Ade he's under contract and he's not for sale, END OF.
