I think it would be a big step backwards for the club and would send out terrible messsage to let Adebayor go. What would we achieve by loaning him out?! It would be just like Robinho, he will not want to come back.
To become title contenders we need to build a top squad, that won't happen if we see top players as dispensible. We need continuity. What kind of message does it send to the rest of our squad? You don't see any other clubs spending 25 mil on a player one season and then selling him the next.
I genuinely hope that these are hollow rumours, because otherwise it confirms the crap that we've had thrown at us since the takover.
