Just what I was thinking mate...
Part of me thinks it's a smokescreen, the only player we're currently linked with that would need a work permit is Eto'o.
I hope that's the case, although I'm probably clutching at straws!

If someone starts a new job they need to reapply for a work permit incase they no longer qualify for it. with adebayor it should be a formality he needs to have played in plus 75% of international games for Toga and Toga's averagage Fifa ranking for the past 2 years needs to be 70 or better.
You can always get round it as long as you can prove it. I worked at Pro Active who are a football agency in wilmslow and they had this problem when Hughes funnily enough was buying Ryan Nelson from DC United he had played enough games but New Zealands average was something 70.8 over 2 years so the had to apply.
