Regardless of how much we do sell him for though make sure their is a sell on clause, because if next season they don't qualify for champions league football he'll be on the move again.

Although Ade is probably in the 15mil bracket we would have to subsidise his leaving as no club will want to pay the wages he is on.
50k per week on a 4 year deal is circa 10mil hence why Spuds are offering about 8mil for him.
We'd get more from a PSG or Malaga type of club but as usual he won't want to go there so we have to take what we can.

Because if they don't sign him now, then at the end of the season he's open to other options and maybe Liverpool or another club will have been impressed by his performances this season and will sign him.
This way they have first dibs on him and don't have to compete with anyone.

Because when it gets to the summer we will get other bids, makes sense for Spuds to try and close the deal whilst they have him at the club.

The low fee reflects the fact that buying club has to take on huge wages that he's really not worth even at his best.
We won't get any higher and as someone else said, Ade will start to get shitter as the season goes on, because that's what Ade does - then we'd end up with even less money, or worse still no takers.
